RCB still in the race for the playoffs due to the massive victory at Jaipur
It was a do or die match for the royal challengers Bangalore which was against the mighty Rajasthan Royals. With the challengers winning the toss and electing to bat first putting up a big score to defend was their top priority first.
The Royal Challengers placed a decent score of 171 on the board with the Classics of Glenn Maxwell along with the captain Faf Duplessis and Anuj Rawat. Maxwell scored a impactful 54 of just 33 deliveries.
Wanting to win the match RCB needed a gun bowling performance from all their bowlers but Wayne Parnell was on a different level. Parnell in the spell of his 3 overs conceded on 10 runs dismissing Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson and Joe Root with an economy of just 3.33.
It was gun performance from the challengers to keep their hopes alive in the tournament.
